The following questions are based on the final chapters of the book.
1. Lily's father had promised to help Professor Silverfish. Was it fair that he went back on his promise when he discovered the potential of the perpetual motion machine?
If we make a promise should we always keep it?
2. The perpetual motion machine would have saved Professor Silverfish's life, possibly allowing the professor to live forever. Why did Lily's father have an issue with this?
3. John Hartman was faced with a difficult decision after the crash. Save his wife or his daughter, Lily. Why do you think he chose Lily?
